Being the most common type of wayfinding signage, they tell a person when they have arrived at a destination, like door plaques, and departmental markers.

This type helps people get where they are going. These are best used at intersections and areas without a clear traffic flow, like directories, arrow signs, coloured lines.

REGULATORY
It is focused on safety and liability concerns and sets boundaries as to what is allowed and not allowed in your facility, establishing rules, safety standards, and privacy
